GREAT LOSS TO NIELPET AND THE COUNTRY
On behalf of Nile Petroleum Corporation (NILEPET) family and on my own behalf, with great sorrow and heavy heart, I mourn the untimely death of our colleague Eng. Paul Adong Bith who died yesterday, Sunday, June 19, 2022, in the United Arab Emirates.
Late Eng. Paul Adong Bith served as the third NILEPET Managing Director from 2012 through 2015, after Dr. Bullen Ajith and Mangok Khalil. Late Eng. Paul diligently served NILEPET with patriotism and distinction, leading to growth and further development of NILEPET. After leaving NILEPET, Eng. Paul Adong became a Technical Advisor to the Ministry of Petroleum from May through November 2015 and then became Vice President of Dar Petroleum Operating Company (DPOC) from December through March 2017. Till death yesterday, Eng. Paul was the incumbent Technical Advisor to the Ministry of Petroleum. He was a respected voice in the Oil and Gas industry and at times, advised NILEPET. In the spirit of solidarity, the death of Eng. Paul Adong is a great loss to NILEPET and South Sudan.
I offer our condolences and prayers to the family and friends of our colleague late Eng. Paul Adong Bith.
